We thank you for choosing hotel Calypso for your holiday. We are honored to be your hosts. Our purpose is to create a unique atmosphere that allows you to fully enjoy an unforgettable stay with us. This info brochure was prepared especially for you and we hope that it will be useful to you during your stay with us.

 

RECEPTION DESK

Check – in

The check – in in the resort commences at 3 pm. If you decide to change the duration to your stay, please, contact the reception at least 1 day in advance. At check – in you will receive a key – card for your room and a bracelet, which you need to wear always with you and show it, when asked to. The bracelet proves that you are a guest in the hotel. The reception desk is available 24 h and our employees are at your disposal for assistance and information at any time.

 

Check – out

Information for your flight home and the transfer from the hotel will be provided to you by your travel agency. On the day of your departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room till 11.00 o’clock. The room key – card is to be handed at the reception when checking out. If you’d like to extend your stay, please talk to reception. This service is paid, and it had to be checked for availability of the room.

 

Electricity

The voltage in your room is 220 V.

 

Safe

A safety deposit box is available in every hotel room. You will receive the usage instructions from the reception after paying the corresponding. Due to safety reasons, it is advisable that all valuables be kept in the safe. The hotel administration cannot be hold responsible for lost item that were not in a locked safe.

Room – to – room calls

To connect to another hotel room, you just need to dial the room number.

 

Local calls

To obtain an outside line, dial “0”, then the number you wish.

 

 

 

 

International calls

For international calls, dial “0” to obtain an outside line, followed by the code of the country (including “00”), then the area/district code (omitting the first “0”) and then the number of the subscriber. To contact the hotel from abroad, first you need to dial the country code of Bulgaria 00359, followed by the area number and by the hotel number 55422616.

Communication

There is an internet communication, cable TV and telephone in each room.

Safety information

In every room and on every floor, you will find evacuation plans. In case of fire, please, follow the instructions.

 

Air conditioning

The air conditioning in the room stops automatically when the balcony door is opened.

Parking

An open extra chargeable parking is available in front of the hotel with limited spaces for the hotel guests.

 

OUTDOOR POOL

The outdoor pool is available for our guests every day from 09.00 till 18.00h. Due to safety reasons using the pool between 18.30 and 06.00h is not recommended because our staff begins to treat the pool to prepare it for the next day. All our guests are kindly requested to comply with the safety roles in the hotel.

 

Sunbeds

We kindly request our guests not to move the sunbeds around the pool away from their places. We also ask you not to reserve   them by placing towels, clothes or other objects on them before you use them or during your extended absence (more than 10 minutes). If necessary, our staff has the right to remove those objects and clothes from the respective sunbeds in order to allow other guests to use them.

Towels

We kindly ask you not to use the towels from the room by the swimming pool. For any damaged or lost item, you will be charged with the respective fee.

 

Balcony

 

For aesthetic reasons, we kindly ask you not to hang out your towel over the balcony balustrade.

 

Gym

The hotel offers a gym at your disposal.

 

For the children

The hotel offers a children’s playground.      

 

Game room

There is a game room where you can play air hockey, darts and foosball from 10.00 to 21.00h. There is also a tennis table in front of the room.

Taxi

We would like to inform you that near the hotel and in Sunny beach there are many taxis with overpriced tariffs. In order to keep you from being deceived, we recommend that you ask at the reception when you want to order a taxi, transfer or excursion.

 

Security

There is a 24 – hour video control in the hotel and a live security guard thru the night hours.

 

RESTAURANT

Opening hours

Breakfast (buffet): 07.30 – 10.00h

Lunch (buffet): 12.30 – 14.30h

Dinner (buffet): 18.30 – 21.00h

 

Bars

You can enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of our bars during the following hours:

Pool bar: 10.00h – 23.00h

Snack bar: 15.00 – 17.00h

 

 

Dress code

Please, dress suitably for dinner in our restaurant. We do not advise men to wear shorts and bath slippers at dinner.

 

Non – smokers

It is forbidden to smoke in the dining room, as well as in the whole hotel.

 

Maintenance

If anything in your room does not work properly during your stay, please, inform the reception desk as soon as possible, in order that the technical department is alerted.

 

Silence

We kindly ask you to keep silence in the hotel after 23.00h in order to respect the other guests' sleep.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Responsibility

We would like to inform you that our hotel does not take any responsibility for the services offered or provided by external companies outside the hotel, excursion, attractions, sport activities and others. Therefore, out hotel is not to be hold responsible for any incidents or accidents which might occur while using the services of the abovementioned companies.

In case of wasted or broken hotel property, the responsible guest must pay a fee, according to the damage.

 

Other services

Hotel provides laundry service, ironing and dry cleaning. For information, please, ask at the reception. For individual ironing in your room, we provide an iron and an ironing board.

 

If you have any special wishes, i.e. to get help with the luggage, to rent a car, to order flowers, to call a doctor, to send a letter or a postcard at any time during the day, the reception you will get other suggestions for your stay.
